He died for us...

I hope that we will all remember that Easter isn't really about baskets and bunnies, colored eggs and candy. Although we are living in a tumultuous time, we were given the gift of repentence on this most sacred day. I am so grateful for my savior, grateful that he loved all of us so much that he suffered and bled on that cross, and died for our sins. I am grateful for friends and family that know these things to be true and live their lives as examples to the world. I am grateful that I live in a country where I am free to celebrate His resurrection on Easter Sunday. I hope you all are grateful too.

May we all remember that Christ gave His life that we may all live with Him again. I am so grateful for the gift of Eternal life with my Eternal family...that is what I will celebrate this Easter with my family.
We were able to go to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple with the whole family yesterday and it was so incredible. Such a moving portrayal of Jesus Christ and His life. Even Dallen loved it!
Happy Easter to you and your amazing family too!
We love you...

Thank you, Heather and Rich for the beautiful reminder that we celebrate joy in the resurrection of our Savior and the knowledge that life is everlasting -- all will be peaceful again in that eternal realm!
